It was revealed that more than half of the surveyed LGBT respondents had yet to come out to someone. According to the survey's results, friends were chosen most frequently as confidant, followed by family members.

The source specifies that all respondents apart from transgender respondents are cisgender, meaning that their sex assigned at birth matches their gender identity.
