According to a survey conducted by Rakuten Insight in March 2022, around 44 percent of respondents in mainland China who took dietary supplements said that they increased the frequency of taking supplements after the coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. The majority of respondents also stated that they took dietary supplements in order to improve and strengthen their immune system.
