As of 2019, enrollments in private universities and colleges in Ghana were higher for Business oriented disciplines, which recorded 27,883 students. Disciplines in Applied Science followed with 16,374 students, while programs in Arts and Social Science had 9,420 enrollments. Programs in Agriculture registered the least number of students in these institutions. Overall, agricultural disciplines were least pursued by students in both private and public universities as of the same year.
