Population in Tunisia 2010-2023, by age group

In 2023, people aged 25-64 years in Tunisia amounted to approximately 6.5 million and represented the largest demographic group in the country. Overall, the number of individuals among each age group grew in the last decade, except for the young population aged 15-24 years, which dropped by 390,000 individuals between 2010 and 2023. The country’s total population has increased gradually and surpassed 12.2 million people in 2023.
