It appears that chocolates coming from Belgium and Germany are French people's favorite cocoa products. In 2023, France imported over 135,000 tons of Belgian chocolate and cocoa products, thus making the country its number one chocolate supplier. German chocolates accounted for over 116,000 tons of the import volume. It should be noted that nine out of the ten leading suppliers of chocolate products are situated on the European continent.
