Number of ski resorts by mountain range in France 2019
The Savoie Mont-Blanc massifs were those with the most ski resorts in France in 2019, with more than 100. In total, about 180 resorts were located in the alpine mountains. The second massif with the most resorts was the Jura with about 40 resorts. However, the Pyrenean resorts welcomed more skiers than those of the Jura over the 2016-2019 period. The Pyrenean resorts welcomed eight percent of skiers over this period.
