Between the second quarter of 2019 and the same period of 2020, the volume of transactions of residential real estate generally dropped in major Italian cities. Among the ones considered, Naples appears to be the city that experienced the largest negative variation (-35 percent ). On the other hand, Genua was the one registering the lowest variation. Residential real estate transactions in this city, however, still decreased by nearly 20 percent during the period considered.
