Preferred devices used by Italian avid fans to follow eSports in lockdown 2020
During the 2020 lockdown, the PlayStation was the favorite device to follow eSports among Italian avid fans, namely people following eSports daily. 45 percent of respondents claimed to have used this device during the lockdown, which in Italy started at the beginning of March and was gradually eased in May. Moreover, smartphones were more popular than both laptop and desktop PCs. Overall, 44 percent of avid fans used mobiles to follow eSports.
