Hydrogen could bring many different benefits in the United States' economy. Assuming a ambitious deployment scenario, the hydrogen market could generate 750 billion U.S. dollars by 2050 and cover 14 percent of annual final energy demand.
In 2050, manufacturing of specialized materials and components is forecast to make up the greatest portion of revenues generated in the U.S. hydrogen market, at a total of 285 billion U.S. dollars.
