Between 2016 and 2020, the annual revenue of the magazine industry in Mexico declined by nearly 42 percent, standing below 1.9 billion Mexican pesos in the latter year. However, 2022 saw a slight increase, with the industry revenue nearly reaching two billion that year. On the other hand, the number of people working for magazine publishing houses in Mexico decreased in the same period.
