Environmental issues: bad conscience of the French when buying new clothes 2019
The growing awareness of the environmental issues associated with the textile industry seems to have resulted in a more or less bad conscience of the French, given their consumer behavior. Thus, while in 2018 nearly one French person out of three said they take these environmental issues into account when purchasing new clothing, in 2019, more than a quarter of them said they have a bad conscience during their purchases of new clothes.
