The purchase of fresh fish at the supermarket was a popular shopping habit among Italians, a survey from September 2020 revealed. However, data showed different consumption habits according to the age group. 77 percent of consumers over 55 years old used to purchase fresh fish, while only 74 percent of consumers between 18 and 34 reported to do the same.
