In a 2020 survey conducted among parents in Chile, it was found that regardless of the age of their children, parents' greatest concern in the use of the internet by kids is for them to be exposed to inappropriate content. This worry is especially true for children between the ages of 4 and 8. In addition, parents of children in their early teens (12-14 years old) were most concerned about them being harassed or attacked online.
