In 2020, Hungarian small and medium-sized enterprises' main barriers to sustainability were the lack of consumer or costumer demand and the lack of financial resources, accounting for 20 percent of the responses, respectively. A further eight percent of enterprises reported that sustainability would not be compatible with their current business model.
