In the fiscal year ending March 31, 2023, the French rail company Alstom employed around 80,000 people to carry out its global operations for the rolling stock industry. Over the recent years, the French rail company employed more and more people across the world. The jump of over 32,800 employees between its 2019/20 and 2020/21 financial years was mainly due to the acquisition of Bombardier Transportation.
