In a survey conducted in 2020, to analyze the changing consumer sentiments concerning the COVID-19 pandemic in India, it was found that a share of 31 percent of the consumers over the age of forty were ready to spend more than five thousand Indian rupees on apparel. Other preferred segments included furniture, electronics, fashion accessories, and skincare.
