In 2023, the number of long-distance coach passengers in Denmark amounted to roughly 1.6 million. The passenger figures for 2022 and 2023 show signs of revival from the slump experienced in 2020 by nearly half the amount. This slump is in part a direct consequence of the Covid-19 pandemic and national lockdown, which led to an overall drop in passengers.
