The company Jumia was the leading key player in online retail among start-ups in West Africa between 2010 and 2019, and it represented 91.2 percent (986.5 million U.S. dollars) of all amount raised in this industry within that period. Konga accounted for 7.4 percent of start-up funds raised within the same period, which amounted to 79.5 million U.S. dollars.
