Change in ticket revenue at performing arts venues in the UK 2020, by month
The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic has had a negative impact on performing arts venues in the United Kingdom. In May 2020, venues received almost 94 percent less revenue from ticket sales than in 2019. Although sales improved slightly towards the end of summer as restrictions on venues were eased, revenue figures were still at minus 90.3 percent in October, prior to the second lockdown in England in November.
