According to a survey from September 2020, approximately one half of Russians would not take into account recommendations from bloggers that they followed when purchasing a product. However, 46 percent would consider opinions of bloggers during the purchase.

The exact question wording was as follows: "Imagine you want to purchase some product. If a blogger you read/follow recommended a product by one of the manufacturers, would you rather take that information into account or you would not consider it?"
