Share of male employers in Ghana 2006-2021
In 2021, male employers in Ghana occupied around 6.4 percent of male employment in the country. In the previous year, a slightly lower share was registered, at 6.3 percent. Moreover, within the observed period, the peak of male employers was reached in 2016. Self-employment figures for men are relatively high in Ghana compared to other countries.
