Mexico: number of sport hunting areas in Baja California 2019, by city
As of August 2019, the city of Ensenada was home to the majority of natural areas where sport hunting was allowed in the Mexican state of Baja California. With 302 units of sustainable environmental areas dedicated for this hobby, Ensenada largely surpassed the state's capital, Mexicali (where 43 sport hunting areas were located). During the hunting season of 2018/19, the largest share of sport hunters in Baja California were international tourists.
