Platinum-group metal reserves worldwide 2010-2024

The global reserves of platinum-group metals (PGMs; including ruthenium, rhodium, palladium, osmium, iridium, and platinum) amounted to 81,000 metric tons in 2023. That represented an increase of about 15,000 metric tons in comparison to the total worldwide PGM reserves in 2010. 

South Africa is by far the country with the largest reserves of platinum-group metals, at some 63,000 metric tons.
