According to a survey conducted by Infocus Mekongthat studied consumer behavior during Tet in Vietnam, 88 percent of respondents from North of Vietnam planned on buying a gift for someone while 83 percent of those from the South planned to do so. Overall, a majority of respondents had intentions to purchase gifts during the cultural celebration.
