In the fourth quarter of 2020, the economically active urban population with a degree (approximately 3.5 million people) was more than the urban workforce without a degree (35.1 percent of the whole urban labor force), representing a difference of 11.4 percentage points. Overall, reasons, such as lack of employment in the country, may account for the decrease in degree-holder employment.
