Roughly four out of ten parents in Mexico wanted their kids to go back to school so they could return to their normal lives in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. Another 27 percent of Mexican parents wished for the opposite, according to a survey conducted in August 2020. Nearly three out of ten respondents were not sure how they would prefer their kids to continue their education. Around the globe, parents are confronted with the decision of sending their children to school or not, and opinions differ from country to country. In Hungary, for example, 78 percent of respondents agree that students should go back to school in the fall of 2020.
