Attendance at movie theaters in Central America 2022, by country
In 2022, Costa Rica reported the highest cinema attendance among the six Central American countries on display: almost 4.4 million. Panama and Guatemala followed, having sold about 3.8 million and 3.5 million movie tickets that year, respectively. Those three markets also recorded the highest box office revenues in Central America in 2022.
