Mineral water consumption frequency in Japan 2022
According to a survey conducted in January 2022 in Japan, almost 31 percent of consumers did not drink commercially available mineral water and water within the last year. As tap water is typically labeled as safe for drinking in Japan, packaged mineral water is relegated to a secondary position in the domestic soft drink market.
