Samsung has led the tablet market in Europe, the Middle East and Africa since the fourth quarter of 2019. As of the second quarter of 2021, Samsung accounted for over 30 percent of the total shipments in the region, whereas the previous leader Apple held a share of 25.4 percent of all tablet shipments.
