Mass media information sector as a percentage of GDP in Mexico 2007-2022
Between 2019 and 2021, the mass media information sector in Mexico accounted for 1.5 percent of that country's gross domestic product (GDP), on average. However, in 2022 the figure grew to 1.6 percent. In 2009, the share stood at 2.5 percent. According to another source, the value of Mexico's media and entertainment industry will grow by 37 percent between 2021 and 2026.
