Chile: ratio of insurance premiums to GDP 2015-2022
In 2022, insurance premiums written in Chile accounted for under four percent of the country's GDP, down from a share of 4.7 percent reported in the previous years. Chilean consumers increased their knowledge about insurance in recent years and were on par with consumer in the United States by 2023.
