Enbridge Mainline is the leading crude oil export pipeline in Canada. It has the highest throughput among the three major export lines. Enbridge Mainline outflow amounted to 3.1 million barrels per day in December 2021, making Enbridge also the largest Canadian oil company by revenue that year. By comparison, the Trans Mountain pipeline's throughput was at 214 thousand barrels per day that same month.
Combined available capacity peaked at 4.1 million barrels per day in December of 2021. The lowest available capacity was recorded in January 2014, at just over three million barrels per day.
