Share of anemic women of reproductive age MENA 2016, by country
In 2016, the prevalence of anemia among women of the reproductive age in the Middle East was the highest for Yemen at 69.6 percent, and the lowest for Kuwait at 23.8 percent. The MENA region has moderate levels of anemia among women of reproductive age, however, anemia was shown to be higher in conflict and low rural transformation countries.
