COVID-19 impact on the subscriptions to video streaming services in Finland 2020
According to a survey from 2020, the use of subscription-based video streaming services among Finns slightly increased as a result of the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. While 42 percent of the respondents did not subscribe to a streaming service prior to the coronavirus, the corresponding figure in the post-coronavirus period was 39 percent. The share of the Finnish people subscribing to Netflix grew by four percent, reaching 39 percent in April 2020.
