Share of U.S. vehicle owners delaying vehicle maintenance 2020
In April 2020, as many as 40 percent of U.S. vehicle owners were delaying vehicle maintenance and repairs because of the coronavirus outbreak in 2020, although the average age of light vehicles in operation continues to rise. Service and part sales at franchised car dealerships in the U.S. made up some 12.4 percent of overall sales.
