During a survey carried out between June 2019 and June 2020 among people in Mexico who identified as LGBT+, 19 percent of respondents stated that they considered Nivea a brand that discriminates against the LGBT+ community. Bimbo and Barilla ranked second, with three percent each. According to the same survey, Doritos was the brand that was most perceived as LGBT+ friendly among members of the community in the North American country.
