As of the second quarter of 2023, the value of gold exports from Ghana had reached approximately 1.71 billion U.S. dollars. In full year 2022, around 6.6 billion U.S. dollars of the commodity were exported. Since 2015, the earnings with gold exports have generally followed an upward trend. That year, Ghana exported the metal at roughly 3.2 billion U.S. dollars.
