Also known as the country of croissants and baguettes, France's food culture has strong ties to gluten. When questioned about their diets, three-quarters of the population say they do not follow any nutrition rules. Nevertheless, four percent do state they are on a gluten-free diet.
Among the people who have never eaten gluten-free pasta, 50 percent explained that they do not see the point of it, while 30 percent never had the opportunity.
