In 2018, nearly two thirds of Brazilians who were reducing their consumption of animal products stated on a survey that they missed the taste of said products. Meanwhile, more than one fourth of respondents mentioned the convenience of consuming animal products. That year, 29 percent of Brazilian respondents said they reduced or wanted to reduced their consumption of animal products.
