Due to social distancing measures and general caution in public places, consumers were dining out less. Instead, restaurant-goers opted for off-premises consumption. According to the source, off-premises consumer traffic at full service restaurants in the U.S. went up 91 percent in June 2020 over the previous year. In contrast, on-premise traffic of FSR restaurants declined YoY by 62 percent.
