The coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic changed the working habits in Kenya between May and June, 2020, as 48 percent of the population indicated having worked less hours than their normal work time, while four percent reported having worked more hours. According to the data, people working in the human health and social work activities, as well as in public administration and defense, declared an addition of more working hours per week than usual.

The distribution of the respondents was 51.3 percent female and 48.7 percent male.
The majority of respondents (63 percent) were aged between 18 and 39 years, and about 35.5 percent reported having attained at least secondary level of education.
