Hotels with a four star ranking had the highest occupancy rates among tourist accommodations in Malta and Gozo in 2019, accounting for over 70 percent. They were followed by five star hotels, which held an average occupancy rate of 67.6 percent. In total, tourist accommodation establishments in Malta had an occupancy rate of 65.7 percent in 2019.
