In 2019, iced tea was the most popular type of tea to consume in Poland. The refreshing drink was followed by the regular black tea, which was enjoyed by 27 percent of respondents.

Thirst quenching iced tea

  In Poland, iced tea consumption is mainly driven by higher temperatures, making it one of the most desirable go-to drinks when cooling down. The key player in the Polish iced tea market scene is Nestea, a Swiss brand of iced tea owned by Nestlé. Maspex produces the non-alcoholic beverages in Poland. It is available in various flavors, ranging from lemon through peach to some more tropical hints, such as mango and pineapple.

   An average Pole consumes 50 grams of tea every month, which is a trend that has remained stable since 2016. Tea drinking is prevalent among females, who constitute over 55 percent of Poland’s tea consumers. Generation-wise, people aged 25 to 44 years old form the country’s largest group of tea enthusiasts.
