In 2019, 30 percent of the respondents indicated that they use e-scooters often for work, whereas 22 percent of the regular users mentioned to use it for the connection to public transport. Nearly 40 percent, on the other hand, said to make use of the electric scooters for tourism purposes, either often or sometimes.
According to another survey held in Brussels, apprioximately 60 percent of the people said to use kick scooter sharing instead of going by foot, whereas roughly 16 percent used it as a replacement for public transport.
