As of September 2019, a survey conducted in Australia regarding cyber security for small to medium businesses noted that 48 percent of respondents who had previously experienced a cyber incident said they were almost certain to experience one in the next twelve months. In contrast, just nine percent of respondents who had never experienced a cyber incident shared the same sentiment.
