Before the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic in Romania, only eight percent of respondents were shopping online at least once a week. As expected, during the epidemic, the share of respondents who shopped online once a week or more, increased from eight to 18 percent. However, once the COVID-19 pandemic was over, the online shopping behavior would decrease again.
