BCCI's number of registered players FY 2012-2017

BCCI had about six thousand registered cricket players in financial year 2017, an increase from the previous year. This was a significant increase from over three thousand players in financial year 2012. About 157 cricket grounds were used during the domestic season in financial year 2011.
