Latin America and the Caribbean: mobile internet users 2022, by country

In 2022, Brazil had the highest number of mobile internet users in Latin America and the Caribbean, with more than 167 million users. Mexico followed far behind, with 98.5 million users, around 69 million users less, still representing more than double the 37 million users registered in Argentina in the same year. Meanwhile, Brazil's internet penetration rate was 77.8 percent in 2022, ranking sixth in comparison to countries like Argentina, which had a online usage rate of 80.42 percent, and Uruguay, with a rate of 89.69 percent, and first on the ranking in the same year.
