Share of French teenagers who have already written fake information online 2019
False online information has become a serious issue in France in 2019. Young people are considered to be the most exposed to this kind of information, due to the fact that they are the age group with the highest Internet adoption. However, as it could be that some of the cyber offenses actors might be young as well, most of them (90 percent) stated that they never contributed to fake online information. On the other hand, three percent of the French population aged 11 to 20 said they already written false information online.
