At that point in time, an average salary in this Latin American nation could buy 1,696 liters of gasoline. Ecuador followed in second, with a purchasing power of 822 liters of gasoline per average net salary. Meanwhile, Cuba had the worst result in the region - the average Cuban salary could only afford 27 liters of gasoline.
